Inspired by rock carvings from Alta in Norway and the motif 'Two Swans in stone' from rock carvings outside Belamorsk in Karelia, Russia. Facts and imagination create a leap from ancient to modern time visualized through scenes where the nomads travel by foot from the coast to the inland.
