Özet

As early as the 5th century BC, Plato recounted the story and subsequent disappearance of Atlantis, a mysterious island located in the eastern Mediterranean, not far from present-day Crete. Atlantis is said to have been home to the lavish Minoan civilization during the Bronze Age. Going back in time, the documentary intertwines two destinies: that of a young Minoan who, 3,500 years ago, narrowly managed to save a statuette before perishing in the earthquake that engulfed Atlantis. And that of a young American who survived a powerful earthquake in Hawaii in the mid-1950s and went on to become a geologist.
