We are on our way to a new geological era. This requires the inhabitants of the delta to move along with the natural dynamics that are at the core of this area. But where are we moving towards? In De Monding van Morgen Dutch filmmaker Rik van der Linden tries to free himself from the short term chains and goes on an expedition to the future where he learns to see the estuary as a rare area with unique ecological value, where life can be abundant and in which mankind has found its place in time.
