There is no clarity to be found at the lookout point of Amsterdam’s Petroleum Harbor, located on the eastern edge of the world’s largest gasoline harbor. What is it that we are being asked to look out on here where machinery sets the pace, the scale, the volume in such a way that any interruption, or intervention seems impossible or catastrophic?
