Özet

Cyber-religious architecture and ancient spiritual traditions merge in this essay by Singaporean multidisciplinary artist Shi Yun Teo. Remixing extensive archival sources in her computer, from found footage to 3D-rendered animations of deities, she configures a map of the material and the immaterial, of the distant past and a projected future, to reflect on how the traditional and the supernatural converge in our contemporaneity.
