Having had a long career and a large impact on contemporary Finnish art, he expresses his innermost feelings in Iivo Korhonen’s poetic work. Having experienced ups and downs in his life, the painter describes the transience of life wistfully. Wuorila-Stenberg ponders on aging, death, and loneliness, but also the greatest joys of his life, like love. “I know that life is a big secret,” he says.
